The CSD presents: Dancing the Diaspora with Sakina Ibrahim

The Community Safety Diversity Working Group is proud to bring back Sakina Ibrahim for Dancing the Diaspora! An interactive movement based workshop that teaches cultural diversity and awareness using dance and music. By exploring Traditional West African (Agbaja), Latin (Salsa/Merengue) and Social Dances (Lindy Hop/Hip- Hop) participants will create community and gain embodied knowledge through the language of movement.
