HRB NOMINATIONS DEADLINE IS FEB. 8
Dear University Hills Resident,
This is the final call for nominations for candidates to serve on the University Hills’ Homeowner’s Representative Board (HRB). The HRB is a community-elected body of volunteer residents that advises the Irvine Campus Housing Authority Board and management on community matters and advocates on behalf of residents to build community. Each year, four of the HRB’s seven members are elected to serve a one- or two-year term. For more, go to uhills.org info.

Why run for the HRB?

  • Learn what it takes to run a large community.
  • Provide input on the future direction of the community.
  • Giving back to your community makes it an even better place to live.

If you have questions about:

  • What does serving on the HRB entail?
  • What about the time commitment? (It’s not as large as you think)
  • What roles and committees are available? Send an email to: hrbchair@uhills.org

HOW TO SUBMIT NOMINATIONS:

Interested participants should send a short candidate statement to
andrew.herndon@icha.uci.edu or kim.encinas@icha.uci.edu . The statement should include brief information about yourself and your reasons for volunteering on the HRB. Nominations will be accepted until 9:00 am on Friday, February 8, 2019 . Voting will take place in late February, and those elected will be seated at the March, 2019 HRB meeting.
