Beginning in March, University Hills will be offering two new group exercise classes at the Community Center. The classes, taught by Uhills resident JeeLoo Liu, is free of charge to all Uhills residents. JeeLoo Liu, a CSU Fullerton Philosophy Professor, is a certified instructor at Jin Pei Holistic Education Center , a non-profit Taichi group. Contact Jeeloo Liu for more information.

Bagua Zhang Martial Arts Dance

This class teaches Bagua Zhang, traditional Chinese sequential martial art moves similar to Taichi, and a gentle form of Taichi Zumba that combines traditional Taichi moves with fast-beat Latin music.
Suitable for:
• Those who are interested in learning this particular form of Chinese martial art
• People with agile movements or wishing to improve mobility and flexibility
Thursdays (beginning March 7)
Chinese Healing Exercises

This class integrates ancient Chinese qigong practice (such as Baduanjin) into a series of stretching and balancing exercises.
Suitable for:
• Those with chronic back pain, shoulder stiffness, knee pain, or other joint problems.
• Those who do not wish to memorize sequences and wish to come to class on a drop-in basis.
• Visiting Chinese grandparents who do not understand English but wish to practice healing exercises
You are welcome to attend both classes.
今年三月起本社区会在社区中心开两门新的太极运动养生班。这两门课由南加州景培太极社检定教员刘纪璐(加州州立大学富乐敦分校哲学系主任教授)带领,对本社区居民服务,完全免费教授 (以中英双语教学)。

本课教授八卦掌的基本动作以及套路。并且带领景培社创办人吕景海所编的太极广场舞,
以传统八卦形意太极手法配合拉丁舞曲。适合想要学习初级八卦掌,喜爱广场舞或是想锻
炼身体灵活性与柔软度的居民。

课程:中国传统养生拉筋
时间:6:50-8:20pm

本课融合中国传统气功,八段锦,呼吸八式等等养生运动,配合拉筋,平衡,拍打。强调
以运动全疗,特别适合有背痛,肩膀僵硬,膝盖问题,以及其他关节问题的人。不想学套
路或是记动作的学员可以只上这门课,也特别欢迎来此访问只会中文的中国亲属。
