Find out about the new way of voting coming to Orange County in 2020: Vote Centers and Ballot Drop Boxes. Gone are the local polling places limited to voting precinct locations. Now every voter in OC can vote in person or drop their mail ballot at any Vote Center in OC during the eleven-day period leading up to and including Election Day, March 3, 2020. The Registrar of Voters of Orange County is working with the League of Women Voters as communication partners to present a 30 minute talk with Q & A afterwards covering how we’ll all be casting our ballots through 2020. Come meet with your neighbors to discuss just what this means for UHills residents as voters and as educators to the greater UCI community. Vote Centers also provide a fulfilling temporary job opportunity for anyone over 18, regardless of citizenship status. Information handouts and light refreshments provided. The speaker will be our own Terry LePage- UHills neighbor, member of LWV, and experienced community engagement speaker.
