CRV Recycling Program

 

Dates:          every other Saturday (please presume the collection is cancelled or delayed if it is raining) 

2025: April 19, May 3, May 17 (please do not drop off recyclables at the Community Center at any other time)

Time:           9:00am-11:30am

Location:   University Hills Community Center roundabout

Bring:         glass/plastic/aluminum containers marked with “CA CRV”

          • donations must be rinsed clean
          • crushed cans are appreciated
          • wine and liquor bottles do not need to have the “CA CRV” label
          • sorted material is also appreciated, but the Uhills volunteers are on hand to help with that step!

Recycle from Home, an Irvine-based recycling company, accepts the containers and issues a check. All proceeds from Uhills donations go to support the work of the UCI Basic Needs FRESH Hub food pantry. Over $16,000 has been donated from CRV containers in Uhills since 2019!!!
