CRV Recycling Program

 

Dates (please presume the collection is cancelled or delayed if it is raining) :

Time:         9:00am-11:30am

Location: University Hills Community Center roundabout

Bring:     glass/plastic/aluminum containers marked with “CA CRV”

        • donations must be rinsed clean
        • crushed cans are appreciated
        • sorted material is also appreciated, but the Uhills volunteers are on hand to help with that step!

Recycle from Home, an Irvine-based recycling company, accepts the containers and issues a check. All proceeds from Uhills donations go to support the work of the UCI Basic Needs FRESH Hub food pantry. In 2023, over $4,000 was donated from CRV containers in Uhills!!!
