Do you want to volunteer to help our Inclusive Pride be more awesome than ever? SignUp for a spot!
Last year was entirely family-friendly and kid-focused. This year, we are exploring a generationally inclusive program with kid-friendly activities from 4 PM to 6 PM and activities for non-kids from 5 PM on until 9 or 10 PM.
OC Ice Cream Truck returns again and the first 150 people who show up will get free ice cream! We’ll also have face painters ready to create pride-themed art on your face! Finally, Krystal will return with her popular button-making, The Unconfirmed Makeshift Museum, or UMM will help people make collages, and we’ll again offer Zine-making with Jeanne and Luna!
We will also have a bartender (please bring cash for tips) who will provide drinks for residents. We will try to reuse/wash cups to minimize waste.
Around 5 PM, a Queer Discussion Salon will bring together some University Hills residents who research and write about queer topics. Jonathan Alexander, Anna Boncompagni, Angela Lukowski & Caleb Schlaupitz, Foz Meadows, elin o’Hara slavick, and Judy Tzu-Chun Wu will talk about their work. Everyone is welcome to participate.
At 6 PM, Erin Mohr will open for Amanda Cohen for UHills’ first-ever Inclusive Pride Comedy Night!
Once Comedy Night wraps up, we will offer some social time + dancing with music by DJ LexLuv (Details may change).
