Thank you to all who contributed their thoughts as the HRB considered the recent request by the South Irvine Dolphins to use the Los Trancos pool for their practice this summer. The Dolphins have now received word that University High School's pool repairs will be conducted after the conclusion of the summer swim season, and that the Dolphins will be able to hold their practices at University High School.
As a result of the input from residents and the community meeting on use of the pool by the Dolphins, the HRB is in the process of forming two committees. One will consider new ways to communicate more fully with our growing community and to develop processes to handle requests like this one in the future. The second will focus its attention on pool facilities, including developing recommendations for ICHA as they plan for Phase 10 development.
