ICHA with the support of the HRB is nearing the completion of upgrading the courtyard at the Community Center. The decomposed granite and tree enhanced court has been modified with added pavement and green and gold landscaping, along with comfortable outdoor furniture and accent boulders. Sofas, adjustable chairs and tables accentuate the natural colors in the adjacent stones and the warmth of the wooden furniture ties nicely with the perimeter wooden benches and stacked stone walls.
The furniture is intended to serve the courtyard exclusively. A poll will shortly be taken of the community via the U Hills web site by the HRB to determine what suitable improvement should be added to the center island in the court. Under consideration are: a fountain to create water music, a gas fire pit, art structures that could change periodically and a natural stone garden table with a built in water-stream element.
