The Gabrielino Pool is located on the corner of Gabrielino Drive and Frost Street. At close to 22 meters, it can also be used for lap swimming or basic recreation. This pool is seasonally heated (May – October), while the spa is heated throughout the year.
Coltrane Pool is the newest and largest in University Hills. It is an Olympic-sized pool and home of the University Hills Narwhals. It is heated throughout the year.
The space-themed playground at the corner of Coltrane and Pauling features a spinny-ride and a climbing structure. In addition, the park features a small grassy area, a gas barbecue (reservable), and picnic tables with shade umbrellas. The closest restrooms are across the street in the Coltrane Pool building.
