As our University Hills Community adjusts to life in the time of Coronavirus, it has never been more important to connect with one another. This page seeks to provide resources for all residents seeking information, assistance, and community. Please follow the tips below to connect with your neighbors and get your questions and concerns answered. (Do you have some experience with WordPress? The Uhills community is seeking volunteers to update content on uhills.org. Please contact hrb@uhills.org if interested.)
Taking Care of Business
The Irvine Campus Housing Authority is committed to remaining fully operational and is managing your needs remotely. The ICHA Office is closed, but we are open for business 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday via phone and email. Go to the Contacts Page for the full list of emails and phone numbers. Facilities are closed and all community events and classes have been cancelled until further notice (see details here). The uhills.org system is no longer accepting reservations (existing private Community Center reservations are unaffected. Please contact the ICHA office at (949) 824-2425 with questions).
Do You Need Help? Would You Like to Volunteer?
Are you needing help with grocery shopping, home projects, information, companionship or reassurance? Are you interested in helping your neighbors who need help? Please contact the HRB Welcoming & Wellness Committee about signing up to be a participant or volunteer. A representative from the committee will contact you to discuss next steps. Thank you for caring for your University Hills neighbors!
Consider Joining the Listserve
The Uhills listserve is a community conversation and a predecessor to NextDoor. With 1,000+ residents participating, the listserve is a great way to keep a pulse on community topics and relay information to a wide group of your neighbors. The listserve is email software that allows you to register your email address. When anyone in the email list sends out an email, you will receive it if your email address is registered. For detailed instructions and links to the listserve sign up page, go to Listservs/ For listserv FAQs, procedures and rules, please go to UHillsListFAQs.
