Entertainment Committee: An art show and music festival will be held to celebrate the summer solstice on Saturday, June 22 from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. 20 artists will exhibit their creations and four different musical groups will perform throughout the day. Light refreshments will be served.

Recreation Survey Phase 10:
The results of the ICHA Recreation Survey for Phase 10 were presented to the HRB by Victor Van Zandt. 327 responses were received and the most requested items were pools, barbeques and picnic tables, green areas and trails, and tennis courts. Final data will be presented to the HRB at the May meeting.

DetailsElection Results: Newly elected members of the HRB are Steve Cauffman, Sandrine, Scherson, and Michele Walot, who were elected to two year terms. Michael McNally was re-elected to a one year term. Outgoing members Jan Fisher, Leslie Danziger, and Wendy Sanders were thanked for their service to the community.

The ballots for the HRB election will be sent out this month and are due to be returned to ICHA by 5:00 p.m. on February 28, 2013. The ballots will include candidate statements. Candidates for the four open seats are: Jan Fisher, Mike McNally, Michele Walot, Sandrine Scherson, and Steve Coffman. Those elected will be seated at the March 5, 2013 HRB meeting.

On behalf of the children in University Hills, Santa and Mrs. Claus visited the community center on Saturday, December 15, 2012. Santa and Mrs. Claus saw 60 children and about 120 parents. Each child received a book and had juice and cookies while parents enjoyed coffee. A group of University Hills University High students sang holiday songs. Adrian Rangel provided holiday music throughout the evening on the piano.
