HRB ELECTIONS –
The HRB Chair asks that Uhills residents consider improving our community by volunteering your time on the HRB. There will be at least 3 openings on the Board this year. HRB members serve a two-year term and meet once a month for approximately 90 minutes.

There will be a community discussion about the Dolphins Swim Team use of the Los Trancos pool this summer at 5 pm-6 pm moderated by Carolyn Scheer after this brief discussion. Notes will be posted separately from that gathering.
We discussed having CSOs patrol the Community Center and common areas until midnight.

Dolphins Swim Team Announcement
Thank you to all who contributed their thoughts as the HRB considered the recent request by the South Irvine Dolphins to use the Los Trancos pool for their practice this summer. The Dolphins have now received word that University High School's pool repairs will be conducted after the conclusion of the summer swim season, and that the Dolphins will be able to hold their practices at University High School.

At next Tuesday's HRB meeting, the HRB will be holding a public discussion about the proposal for the Dolphins Swim Team to use the Los Trancos Pool for practices this summer. The public discussion will be held from 5:00 – 6:00 PM in the large Community Room of the Community Center, and will be moderated by Carolyn Scheer. Those in favor of the proposal and those opposed to it are each asked to nominate one speaker who will be invited to make a brief presentation. Thereafter, those in attendance will be invited to comment, with comments limited to 3 minutes per person.
DetailsRequest to use Los Trancos Pool for short part of summer for local swim team
Many of you are familiar with the South Irvine Dolphins Children’s Swim Team, a recreational summer swim team for children ages 5-18. The Dolphins swim team is an all-parent run organization and is part of the 19-team Irvine Swim League (ISL), a non-profit youth sports organization. The Dolphins are a City team, so children from several neighborhoods swim on it, but by far the largest subgroup is kids from University Hills (35% of the team last year).
